How an electric UTV works

With the rapid development of green energy and intelligent technology, electric utility vehicles (UTVs) are playing an increasingly important role in modern operations. Electric UTV has been concerned and loved by all walks of life for its advantages of environmental protection, high efficiency and simple operation. This paper will introduce the working principle of electric UTV, and discuss its outstanding performance in practical application in combination with our production of six-wheel electric UTV MIJIE18-E.

The basic structure and working principle of electric UTV
Electric UTV is mainly composed of electric drive system, control system, transmission system and brake system. The core of the electric drive system is the electric motor, whose role is to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy to drive the vehicle. The control system adjusts the current and voltage of the motor through the controller, so as to control the speed and torque of the vehicle.

In our production of MIJIE18-E, two 72V5KW AC motors and two Curtis controllers are used. Ac motors are characterized by high efficiency, long life and low maintenance costs, while Curtis controllers are known for their precise current control and energy management capabilities to ensure optimal power output under all operating conditions.

Drivetrain with semi-floating rear axle
The transmission system of the electric UTV transmits the power output of the motor to the wheels to achieve the drive. The design of the transmission system directly affects the dynamic performance and working efficiency of the vehicle. MIJIE18-E uses a 1:15 axle-speed ratio design with a maximum torque of 78.9NM, giving it excellent climbing ability with gradients of up to 38%. This makes it easy for MIJIE18-E to cope with steep hills and difficult terrain.

The design of the semi-floating rear axle enhances the stability and durability of the vehicle under heavy load conditions. The semi-floating rear axle can not only improve the load capacity of the vehicle, but also effectively reduce the wear of the transmission system and extend the service life of the vehicle.

Electric UTV braking system
The braking system is an important component to ensure the safe operation of the vehicle. The MIJIE18-E's braking performance is excellent, with a braking distance of 9.64 meters in empty condition and 13.89 meters in full load condition. Under different loads and complex road conditions, MIJIE18-E can still stop quickly and smoothly, ensuring efficient operation and improving safety.

A wide range of applications and private customized services
MIJIE18-E has demonstrated strong adaptability in a variety of application scenarios. Whether it is forestry, agriculture, mining, construction, or even patrol and other special purposes, MIJIE18-E can be qualified. We also provide private customization services to adjust the vehicle configuration according to the special needs of users, such as adding specific features or enhancing certain performance to better meet the individual needs of customers.

Room for future development and improvement
Although the MIJIE18-E already has excellent performance, there is still plenty of room for the future of electric UTV. Especially with the improvement of battery technology, the endurance capacity and charging efficiency of vehicles will be further improved. In addition, the introduction of intelligent and automated technology can achieve more accurate control and management, improve operational efficiency and safety.
